Who is this workshop for?

ANY photographer at ANY skill level, from novice to pro, who has an understanding of shutter speeds, apertures and core camera craft.

This workshop is aimed at those photographers who simply want to improve both the quality of, and the ease of capturing great newborn photography. Giving it a contemporary commercial twist which todays' more visually astute parents will adore. Whether you currently shoot children , have never considered this genre, have a studio or are mobile, this is a "Must Do" workshop for you.

Overview

Capturing the newborn is both rewarding and lucrative. This workshop is designed to give you all the tools and tips necessary to successfully launch a new venture or indeed be "bolted on" to an existing business.

Your two tutors will take you step by step through the process of not only working with and photographing the newborn but with no "Secret" being withheld.

Tracy, will impart to you her great knowledge on "baby wrangling", ensuring you know how to handle, manipulate and pose a baby comfortably, safely and ensuring maximum awwwwww factor.

International celebrity photographer Damian, the man the popular photographic press call the "Lighting Wizard" will then show you just how simple it is to light baby sumptuously following his easy "3 step" process. Whether you use speedlights, studio flash or continuous lighting, beautifully lit imagery is guaranteed.

Compositional tools, props, products, sales strategy and even post production will be covered in this intense full day workshop. Todays' visually astute, discerning clients, demand more for their money these days, this workshop will empower you to be able to lucratively fulfill their needs.

A little about me and my training on MMOS with Damian by Tracy Willis LSWPP :
Starting a career so late in life was both scary and exciting. With no training what so ever I bought my first ever SLR at the ripe old age of 40. Having always had an interest in Art it seemed a logical step. Joining the SWPP having never shot an image I bumbled my way through using guess work. Some times I was lucky, most of the time not. Having no comprehension of what was correct when it worked I found frustrating.
I frequently heard the word 'Training' bandied about by other photographers but that wasn't for me. I could glean all the information I needed from other photographers around me! Wrong! After getting frustrated at being told different things by each and every one I became despondent and on the verge of giving up my 'career' all together.
Little did I know this would be my turning point. Saying how fed up I was with not getting where I wanted to be and feeling 'rubbish' prompted Damian McGillicuddy to challenge me to a phone call. This call was my pivotal moment. Explaining about Mentor Me on Steroids (Damian's amazing training courses) I decided to bite the bullet and go for it.
Starting in January 2011 I have never looked back. Since January I have won 8 Gold awards, 24 silver awards, passed my Licentiate and was awarded the Judges Choice Award for April, all for my Newborn images. I am now working towards my Associateship. Damian's teaching is patient, understanding and logical. I have lost count of the 'Lightbulb' moments I've had since starting MMoS.' I can not have hoped to have learned more from anyone else. In life I never spend money unless I have to but for this training I'd sell a kidney to continue!

Please note that due to the costs incurred when running any of our training events we regret we will be unable to offer any refund in the event of non-attendance by any delegate, (irrespective of circumstances or reasons), unless we have received sufficient prior notice which then allows us to successfully re-market the cancelled place. In the event we are able to successfully fill the cancelled place then a 100% refund or credit note will be offered. We also reserve the right to remove, cancel or alter the date of any of our training events.
